Future Fuels Vision
We integrate our gasification technologies, coal and land assets to develop clean coal projects. Our projects produce power, liquid fuels, methane and other clean coal-derived energy. Oil price volatility, the high upfront construction costs, and the financial uncertainty are inhibiting the flow of private capital into the construction of clean coal facilities in the U.S. and other emerging nations. Future Fuels addresses these issues and builds project assets that compel stakeholders to act.
Specializing in smaller mine mouth projects utilizing refurbished equipment and unique partnership structures, we offer a different approach. Our management unites critical assets, such as coal, technology licenses, environmental site permits, political consideration, futures contracts, off-take agreements and engineering resources required for rapid deployment of smaller, but scaleable production facilities. Industry relationships and partnership opportunities enable us to acquire undervalued strategic assets in key locations. We are successful in forming technology alliances, managing risk and securing available government support. |
Energy Facts & National Security
Fossil fuels - coal, oil and natural gas -- currently provide more than 85% of all the energy consumed in the United States, nearly two-thirds of our electricity, and virtually all of our transportation fuels. The U.S. owns only 2% and 3% of world's known oil and natural gas reserves respectively. read more>>>

Clean Coal Technologies
As the world’s most abundant energy source, coal is expected to play a major role in providing energy security for the U.S. and other emerging nations with coal. Advances in technology are making it possible to generate power from coal more efficiently and cost-effectively while, at the same time, significantly reducing the impact on the environment, including the long-term impact of fossil energy use on the Earth's climate. read more>>>
